About us
Born in 1946 as the Wahingdoh Sports Club we won numerous titles and had its share of fame and honor. But with changing times and professionalization, the Amateur club found it hard to compete with newer clubs and the decline began.
In 2007 Wahingdoh Sports Club was almost relegated to the 2nd Div League and the Wahingdoh community felt the need for a new and young approach .
In the year 2008 the club turned Professional when it merged with Royal Football Club and was renamed Royal Wahingdoh FC under the able leadership of Dominic Sutgna Tariang. A new chapter was in the making as in the same year they bounced back and claimed the Third spot in the 2nd Div League , a sign that brought hope for better things in the future.
